What a scrum cap does, and what it does not

A scrum cap is designed to prevent cuts, abrasions and cauliflower ear, and World Rugby Regulation 12 governs the padding it may use. It is not concussion protection, and no maker on this page claims it is. Regulation 12 status is shown only where the maker or a stockist states it, so a blank means the source did not say, not that an item fails the standard.

What we could not tell you

8 of 18 state Regulation 12 in words we could read on a page. Every blank is a gap in what the maker publishes, left empty on purpose rather than filled with a guess. World Rugby's own approved-device list is rendered by JavaScript and cannot be read automatically, which is why the maker's wording is the source here.
