A football boot, worn for rugbyNike sells this as a football boot, not a rugby one, so they have not self-certified it against World Rugby's stud specification. That does not make it illegal: the specification caps studs at 21mm and requires every edge to be smooth and rounded, with no burring, and it allows shapes other than the standard conical stud where they present no greater risk of injury. No stud length is published for it, so measure yours or ask your referee. Because manufacturers self-certify, nobody publishes a definitive per-model verdict, and we will not invent one.
