Who this boot is for
Built from the maker's stated claims and the stud plate, never an invented score.
Buy it ifYou play forwards. Most of your rugby is on wet, muddy winter pitches. The soft-ground plate is made for them.
Skip it ifYou play mainly on firm or artificial pitches: soft-ground stud sets are barred at most artificial grounds, and the studs won't bite on hard summer surfaces. See the firm-ground set instead.
Check your competitionThe maker states 6 x 2 full rounded aluminium stud configuration. Legal under World Rugby Reg 12, but metal is banned on most artificial pitches. Schools and junior leagues sometimes run their own stud restrictions on top of World Rugby's, so it's worth one question to your coach or referee before buying. The stud-regulation answer covers the detail.
